Will I be implementing Agentforce any time soon?
Honestly? I think it’s unlikely I’ll be implementing Agentforce for my clients anytime soon. While the technology is exciting and larger organizations are starting to adopt it, it’s still a new product. As with any new product or feature, I’d recommend that smaller organizations let enterprise clients take the lead before jumping in.
Many small to medium nonprofits aren’t quite ready to embrace AI-driven automation just yet. Implementing Agentforce requires a strong foundation, including clean data, system integrations, budget allocation, and internal expertise—resources that many nonprofits are still working toward. Right now, their focus is often on data entry, improving data accuracy, and optimizing existing workflows, rather than taking a leap into AI-powered automation right in their CRM.
For those curious about Agentforce, I highly recommend watching the TDX Main Keynote available on Salesforce+: Watch here

Beyond Agentforce: Key Sessions & Takeaways
While Agentforce dominated the conversation, there were still some great non-Agentforce sessions at TDX. Some highlights included:
- The Future of User Management – More exciting new features coming in Summer ’25.
- Circles of Success: Take Your Reports to the Next Level – A session led by fellow MVP David Carnes, providing valuable insights into maximizing Salesforce reporting capabilities.
- Real-Life Use Cases – Demonstrations of custom-built Agentforce solutions by members of the community.
That said, I did feel that non-Agentforce content was somewhat lacking this year, with fewer diverse topics compared to past events. Many others felt the same way, with feedback given at the True to the Core session.
Networking & Community Events
TDX is always a fantastic opportunity to connect with the Salesforce community, and this year was no exception. Some of the best moments happened were the networking opportunities, both inside and outside of the event:
- Nonprofit Trailblazer Community Meetup
- Salesforce Community Group Leaders Meetup
- Origami for Mindful Networking
- Community Led Trip to Sausalito
- MVP pre-event sessions at the Salesforce Tower and welcome event
- Bobablazers x Coffee Chat IRL event
- SF Ben Breakfast Blend, sponsored by Gearset
- SF Ben Happy Hour
These meetups were a great way to build relationships, exchange ideas, and strengthen community ties. I left with a long list of follow-ups, which is always a sign of a successful event!
Upcoming Community-Led Events
Looking ahead, there are plenty of Salesforce community-led events coming up, including:
- True North Dreamin’ – Vancouver, Canada | April 24-25, 2025
- MidAtlantic Dreamin’ – Philadelphia, USA | May 5, 2025
- Midwest Dreamin’ – Minneapolis, USA | July 16-18, 2025

Looking Ahead to TDX 2026
TDX will return to San Francisco on April 15-16, 2026. Will I be attending? Honestly, I’m undecided. I’ve loved my experience at TDX over the past two years, but with so many amazing events on the calendar, I might explore other opportunities.
Let’s wait and see!
Final Thoughts
TDX 2025 was an exciting experience, with a strong focus on Agentforce. While I’m eager to see its full potential unfold, I think it’s important for smaller organizations to take a thoughtful approach to adoption. Aside from the Agentforce content, I had a fantastic time networking and connecting with the amazing community. It was a great opportunity to gain insights and look ahead to what’s coming!
If you attended TDX, I’d love to hear your thoughts—what were your highlights? Are you excited about Agentforce, or are you holding off for now?
