Exciting Salesforce Community Events Ahead

In the coming weeks, I have some super exciting Salesforce Community events coming up and I wanted to share my excitement about them!

CzechDreamin’ Salesforce Community Conference

At the end of this week, I’m heading to CzechDreamin’. This Salesforce Community Conference came highly recommended, and since it’s mid-May, which is usually super busy for me, I’ve always had to skip it. But with fellow MVP Kathy Waterworth coming over from Canada, I decided to make it work this year. We’re going to have a blast with a full day of content and the chance to take the AI Associate Certification.

Sessions I’m Looking Forward To:
  • Keynote: Domenique Sillett Buxton, who’s Astro’s Mom!
  • SOQL 201 for Admins & Developers: Slice & Dice Your Org’s Data With Aggregate Queries, Neil Hohmann
  • Salesforce Adoption – Metrics, Methods, and Motivation: Antone Kom
  • Don’t Just “Screenshare”, Take Your Online Presentations to the Next Level: Todd Halfpenny

On Saturday, I’m also joining the organized trip to Kutna Hora. We’ll visit some of the Czech Republic’s most unique and stunning sites, like the Sedlec Ossuary and the Cathedral of St. Barbara. The weather forecast looks stormy, so fingers crossed it clears up!

Salesforce.org Commons Community Sprint

At the beginning of June, I’m headed to the Salesforce.org Commons Community Sprint, which coincides with World Tour. I’m excited for two days of volunteering, leading the Salesforce Indicators project. I’ve written a few blog articles about the Community Sprints—feel free to check them out if you’re interested!

After the Sprint, it’s time for Salesforce World Tour London. I have mixed feelings about World Tour. It’s definitely a big sales event for Salesforce, and I don’t usually go for the enterprise-level sales pitches, as they don’t really fit with the small-medium nonprofits I work with. However, this year we’re hoping for more nonprofit content. I also hope to host a Community Campfire session all about community and plan to have an impromptu meet-up for the nonprofit folks on the mezzanine. It’ll be a last-minute “post on LinkedIn” kind of thing, so stay tuned!

By the way, if you can’t attend World Tour in person you can find much of the content on Salesforce+, sign up here, it’s totally free!

Looking Forward to Connecting

After all this, I think I’ll need a break… and my awesome clients will need some attention. But I’m super excited to connect with so many members of the Trailblazer Community.

Drop me a note if you’re coming to any of these events—I’d love to see you!
